Hi, I’m Priscilla (she/her), a PACFA-registered counsellor and psychotherapist.
My own journey of healing and self-discovery led me to the heart of Gestalt therapy. At just three years old, I migrated to Australia, separated from most of my family. That early experience brought on deep feelings of loneliness, disconnection, and a sense of not belonging. Over time, I learned to silence my needs and disconnect from myself, patterns that shaped my relationships and life.
By my early twenties, I was struggling with anxiety and depression. It was through Gestalt therapy that I first experienced the power of being truly seen, supported, and gently guided back to myself. I began to understand how my early life experiences had shaped the way I moved through the world and how unresolved pain had quietly driven many of my patterns. That space gave me permission to feel, explore, and reconnect with the parts of myself I had long tucked away.

The process wasn’t easy, but it was transformative. It laid the foundation for the grounded, authentic life I now live, and ultimately inspired me to become a counsellor and psychotherapist committed to helping others find their own way home to themselves.
I have experience working with adults, supporting them as they navigate a range of life challenges and transitions.

From Leadership to Therapy:
A Human-focused Approach
My healing journey led me to formal training in Gestalt Counselling and Psychotherapy at 29. Over time, and through many layers of lived experience, I became a qualified counsellor. Someone who walks beside others with empathy, presence, and real-world wisdom.
With over 20 years of leadership and change management experience, I understand the emotional toll of high-pressure environments, complex career transitions, and burnout. I’ve mentored individuals through change and seen how unresolved emotional patterns show up in our personal and professional lives.
I've personally navigated grief, burnout, and major life transitions, including the evolving experience of perimenopause. These experiences have deepened my compassion, sharpened my insight, and strengthened my belief in holistic, human-focused mental health support.

I also bring specialised experience in working with the LGBTQIA+ community, shaped by three years of volunteer counselling with ACON. This work has deepened my understanding of identity exploration, diverse relationship structures, and the unique challenges and strengths within queer communities.
